Have you Joined or Renewed Your Membership to NOCUPP?
Wouldn’t it be great to have additional patrols through Kessler Plaza by uniformed, off-duty police officers, driving marked squad cars? We have the opportunity to do just that through our continued participation in the North Oak Cliff United Police Patrol (NOCUPP).
What is NOCUPP?
NOCUPP is a non-profit organization that manages the Expanded Neighborhood Patrol program in seven North Oak Cliff neighborhoods.
Why should I join NOCUPP?
As a NOCUPP subscriber, you do your part to reduce crime in our neighborhood. When you join, your name and information is provided to our NOCUPP police officers who use the information to learn who belongs at your home and when, and who doesn’t. Members can call patrolling officers directly using a dedicated cell phone number. NOCUPP officers respond within minutes when they are on duty. NOCUPP also provides alarm response, even if the home has had false alarms in the past.
We all know we live in one of the most beautiful areas of our city. By working together, we can help keep it one of the safest. If you are willing to commit to being a part of this program, please contact our KPNA NOCUPP representative, Nola Rae Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org or (214) 536-4640.
Simple Steps to
Help Prevent Home Burglaries
Most residential burglaries are crimes of
opportunity. Criminals look for easy targets where the risk of detection is low. Chances are good you can lower the burglary
appeal at your home by improving security. The
more you do to keep your home from looking like an easy mark, the greater your chances of avoiding a break-in.

can take to help prevent burglaries.
